Bar Admissions

  • New York State Bar, 1967

Professional Experience

Appointed Monroe County Public Administrator, January 2000, by Surrogate Edmund A. Calvaruso and re-appointed in January 2015, by Surrogate John M. Owens.

“We are here to serve the client in a time of need, whatever that need or personal crisis. Secondly, we are results-oriented.” That sums up the philosophy of Founding Partner Frank Iacovangelo, which he believes has driven the firm’s growth. “When you maintain a singular focus on the client, everything else follows. Personal relationships make all the difference. My clients know they can confide in me, that they can always reach me, and that, if they have a problem, I will help them.”

Although he considers his practice to be general, Frank has been doing estate work over the last 20 years. He also has done considerable work on personal injury cases.

Happy with the law profession, Frank has been enthralled with the field. “I have not been unhappy with my profession even one day in my life.”

Personal Info/Hobbies/Interests

A graduate of Aquinas Institute and St. John Fisher College, he has served as a trustee of those schools. Although he has traveled throughout Europe, the Carribean and the U.S., he says he “never went anywhere I wanted to stay. I always wanted to come home.” Likewise he supports the “home teams” like the Red Wings, Rhinos, Rochester Amerks and the Buffalo Bills, and prefers to spend the bulk of his leisure time with his wife Jean, their six children, and their 11 grandchildren. He grew up in the City of Rochester, the firstborn son of Italian immigrants, and now lives in Chili Center.
