A businesslike approach is what Michael Ringrose brings to his work for clients, the majority of whom are involved in commercial and residential real estate transactions. "I believe in keeping a tight rein on every case. That's how you give the ultimate service. And I believe that when people pay a fee for legal services, that means they have a right to speak directly to me whenever they wish. Even when I refer a client to another attorney in the firm for specialized work, I maintain client contact."
An Interest in Enterprise
An undergraduate degree in business administration speaks to Mike's interest in the commercial aspects of the law. "Because I enjoy it, I probably will always continue to work with residential real estate clients. However, I also would like to become more involved in commercial work, particularly business planning for small companies."
A Family Legacy
Mike's grandfather was a lawyer and a judge and his father is a lawyer and currently serving as the Surrogate Court Judge in Oneida County. "I had a realistic expectation of what legal work would entail. I knew the hours were long and the work was complicated, but I like to think I'm hardworking and ambitious, and I enjoy the challenge."
Originally from Rome, New York, Mike is very pleased with the opportunities and advantages offered by the Rochester Community. He enjoys playing golf and boating and fishing with his wife, Cindy, and son, Ian.
